Perforated Metals Form Foundation for Stanley Consultants' Heritage Room
Stanley Consultants is a 92-year-old engineering firm with a distinguished and colorful past, and a bright future. The company's new Heritage Room, designed to illustrate the company's history from its beginnings through today, needed a versatile and durable wall display system that would allow for new projects and important milestones to be easily displayed and interchanged.
It was important for the room to show the use of the cutting-edge technology and materials to illustrate the company's connection with present and future construction materials and building trends. The modern high-tech curved metallic look of the perforated metal system, by Ceilings Plus, provided the desired look and tied in well with the newly acquired furnishings in the adjacent lobby and executive office suite areas.
Photographic displays can be magnetically attached to the wall panels, allowing for easy changes to be made throughout the year. The magnetic posters can also double for use on portable convention display systems when needed. Exposed perforations in the metal panels also added the benefit of some acoustical control on any of the exposed metal panel surfaces.
A LCD flat screen TV was incorporated into one of the wall system panels to help communicate the history and future of the company, and add to our use of cutting-edge technology. The finished room was well received at the company's 92 Annual conference.
