Location of application: Allens Lane Art Center Metal Stair, Philadelphia PA

Replacement of an existing exterior metal stair. The new stair
expresses the life and excitement inside the community art center building. Angled shapes create a colorful “bug-like” stair that invigorates the simple stone facade. The open grates and holes allow light to create beautiful shadows.

Materials include: tube steel framing, metal grate treads and landing, corrugated metal roof, and perforated metal sheets on guard rail.
